Modeled Engraving is a specialty of Bolsons. This is the name given to the engraving of intricate designs, such as coats of arms. Our work is of the highest quality, the proof of which is in the satisfaction of our prestigious clientele, who return to us time and time again.

Your needs for urgency, accuracy and quality are fully understood. To ensure these needs are met someone will liaise with you at length and arrange delivery of your order exactly to your specification, and within the required timescale. We listen, and we act on your requests.

What should be modeled ? Anything that requires "contour", "life" and "body". Coats of arms, animals, people and plants are just some examples. We are also able to engrave in 2D virtually any design or image you may require.

Artwork If we make a request for artwork, it should be camera ready and can be accepted by e-mail in any of the following PC ONLY formats: CDR, EPS, TIFF, JPEG, DXF, GIF, BMP, PDF, WORD 

Alternatively, you can send us a bromide or good clear laser print of the image at 300% actual size.

What if artwork is not available? Not  normally a problem. If the original seal is available this can provide the basis for artwork. Many seals are engraved directly, without the need for templates.

If we do request artwork, however, and none is available, depending on the nature of the design, we may be able to arrange the artwork for you, at extra cost. Please ask any member of our sales team for details.

Pricing Heraldic Engraving prices are based on quotation only. Each job is judged on its complexity. To receive a quotation you can e-mail, fax or post your drawing, idea or artwork to us. Quotations are always issued within two days of being requested.
